The Court of Protection would appoint a Deputy whose duty it is to ensure their money is looked after and managed appropriately. The Deputy must keep accounts to show how the money is being spent. The Court of Protection oversees this and makes checks on the Deputy appointed.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure that this service is needed a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.appointusservices.co.uk\/services\/mental-capacity-assessments\/\">Mental Capacity Assessment<\/a> would be carried out in the first instance.
