Mental Capacity means the ability to make decisions for yourself. In some cases a person may be deemed to lack capacity to make specific decisions at a specific time, this may be due to mental and/or physical health problems.
A Mental Capacity Assessment may be required if it is felt that a person may lack capacity and decisions need to be made around areas such as Property and Financial affairs, Health and Welfare and whether a person should go into a nursing/residential home.
Appoint Us has qualified staff who can carry out Mental Capacity assessments.
Our staff can also complete COP3 assessments for Solicitors.
